Ashville returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory at Market Drayton Town

A first half deadlock was broken on the brink of half time when an excellent team move up the field was finished off by Peter Morgan from close range

The hosts started the second half in a lively fashion and received their dues with an equaliser on 65 minutes when new signing Raul Bisong fired into the top corner from 9 yards

The score would remain level for less than a minute as Ashville took the lead again from the kick off with Joel Kelly rifling a pinpoint half volley into the bottom corner from 20+ yards

With a little under 20 minutes to go the visitors were awarded a penalty after Mark Madden was pushed in the box during a free kick. The Villa striker saw his first attempt saved before the linesman flagged for the keeper being off his line. Madden made no mistake with the retake and slotted home to give Villa a two goal advantage

Despite heavy pressure Ashville did well to see the game out but deep into added time were reduced to ten men when Joe Dulson was judged to of headbutted one of the Market Drayton players following a tasty battle for the ball.

The result sees Ashville move to within 3 points of the playoff places as they enter the final few games of the season. Next up for Villa is a home game against Stockport Georgians next weekend.
