Ashville Football Club can today confirm that we have completed the signing of exciting young winger, Lennox Allward, from Lower Breck.

Lennox previously played for Lower Breck alongside Everton Football College and has appeared in both of our pre-season friendlies thus far, even scoring a fantastic goal during Friday’s game at Llay Miners Welfare.

Allward’s impressive performances for Lower Breck last season saw the 19 year old win both the Supporters & Managers Player Of The Season awards. Our newest signing also has experience of winning trophies on the pitch as well, winning the World School Cup with Everton Football College. Lennox was also part of the Everton Football College squad that reached the semi finals of last season’s Dallas Cup. 

A national cup runner up with Cardinal Heenan Under 17’s, Allward comes to Ashville with a wealth of experience under his belt already when it comes to fighting for, and winning, trophies and he’s looking to add to his glittering CV with more success at Ashville. When asked about what stood out to him about the club he replied: “Ashville are a very promising club with a lot of potential and high demands which is well suited for me”. The young winger then continued: “The amount of character within the club and the high aspirations from the manager and players matches me perfectly to push on and become the best I can be”.

The season might now be less than two weeks away but Allward is itching to play in front of his new fans stating: “I can’t wait to get started and show the supporters what I can bring and I can’t wait to perform with their support”.
