Ashville Football Club would like to welcome Cameron Bott on board as our new first team physio!
Cameron has been with us for our friendlies against Pilkington and Maghull and we are delighted to bring another talented young star into the club.
Cameron graduated from the University Of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) with a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Sports Therapy. Cameron already has plenty of experience in senior football too, completing his 3rd year placement at Accrington Stanley with the Lancashire clubs first team.
Our new physio was something of an up and coming footballer himself, representing the Merseyside county team at the age of 16-17. Whilst at UCLAN Cameron was also captain of the university’s 2nd team and this led to a promotion to the first team for his final two years at UCLAN alongside his studies.
There is a family link to Ashville for Cameron as well, his father Bruce played for Villa in the late 80’s at the end of a successful career which saw Bruce represent Chelsea as a schoolboy before forging a career at Bolton Wanderers and Tranmere Rovers before winding down his career with Vauxhall Motors and retiring for good as an Ashville player.
We are delighted to have Cameron on board and we look forward to what we all hope will be a successful future together
Welcome to Ashville, Cameron Bott!
