Hello faithful, JP your Media Officer here with a bit of an update on some positive changes with the media output going forwards.
August has been an extremely busy month with Villa having already played 11 games so far. Tight turnarounds between games and balancing my work at the club with my personal life has been a challenge at times and as such the media output has been a bit chaotic as I strive to give you all the best media coverage of the club that I can. I want to make things a bit more organised so that I can help take the media to new heights.
Starting from this weekends home fixture against Abbey Hulton United I have put together a more organised schedule for when stuff goes live. Going forwards the post match interviews, match highlights and match report will all go out at set times as follows:
Post match interviews will go live at 2pm on the Sunday following a Saturday fixture & 4pm on the following day after a midweek game
Match highlights will go live at 6pm on the Sunday following a Saturday fixture & 7pm on the following day after a midweek game
Match reports will go live at 4pm on the Sunday following a Saturday fixture & 3pm on the following day after a midweek fixture
These changes will help to improve my workflow and give me time to edit everything together without the pressure of trying to get it all out asap and avoid errors. It will also give me more time to plan and create even more content for the club and our wonderful supporters.
I just want to say a massive thank you to each and everyone of our fans and sponsors for your unbelievable support since I joined the club. I couldn’t do this without you. It can be a very draining and stressful role at times but your endless support and encouragement and gratitude is what keeps me going on those tough days so thank you!
Finally, if anyone is interested in coming on board and volunteering to help out the club in any way, shape or form please do get in touch. We need all the help we can get whether that’s helping me with the media, helping out behind the bar, stewarding, in the cafe, fundraising, grounds work or anything at all. So if you’re reliable, passionate and can lend a helping hand for a few hours on a Saturday please drop us a message on any of our socials or email us at ashvillefcmedia@gmail.com and come and join the team. You won’t regret it.
Thank you all once again and I can’t wait to put out better, more organised content for you all going forwards. UP THE VILLA!
