Our annual Christmas charity collection returns for 2024 in partnership with The Martin Gallier Project & Eastway Primary School

This year we are asking for donations of toys and non-perishable food & toiletries to help those most in need this festive period.

Any toys suitable for ages 0-18 years can be donated.

Food and drink such as tinned goods, dried fruit, cereal, oats, pasta, rice, long life milk, juice and other long life food and drink products is what we are asking to be donated. This is to ensure these donations don’t spoil during the collection period.

We are also on the lookout for donations of toiletries and feminine hygiene products. These are equally important for our most vulnerable and any donations of these items will be extremely helpful

Our first collection date is Saturday 23rd November between 12pm & 2pm at our home ground on Cross Lane, Wallasey, CH45 8RH. We are situated behind Wallasey Rugby Club

Other collection dates will be announced in the coming days

Last year we collected 28 bags full of food donations which we passed to Eastway Primary School who then handed out those donations to the most vulnerable in our community in the lead up to Christmas.

This year we are hoping to smash that number and make this a Christmas to remember for everyone, especially those in need.

We are also asking for cash donations from anyone who can’t donate food, toys or toiletries and that money will be used to purchase the aforementioned goods to add to the collection ready to be handed over to Eastway and MGP in early December.

If you are struggling yourself this Christmas please get in touch.

We are proud to partner with Eastway Primary School once again this year. Eastway are not only a school but also a vital community hub offering support to families and children all year round. For more information visit eastway.eschools.co.uk

We are also proud to partner with The Martin Gallier Project, our official long term charity partner. The Martin Gallier Project is the only prevention, intervention and postvention suicide charity in the north west and since opening their doors in 2019 have saved countless lives and supported hundreds of families and individuals who have been affected by suicide. MGP provide not only non-clinical intervention and grievance support but also provide training to help prevent suicide. Their mission is an incredibly important one as we enter what is for many people their most vulnerable time of year.
